Everything you need to know about Wheel Wall and the services we provide. Can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Please contact us.

An online communications platform bringing wheel buyers and sellers together. Started by two car enthusiast brothers who were frustrated with the difficulties of buying and selling wheels via the various online marketplaces and auctions. We decided to build a better platform specifically for the used wheel market.

No. Wheel Wall is neither an “auction” nor an e-commerce website. Instead, we function as a dynamic classified ad that helps buyers and sellers make the best deal possible.

Wheel Wall was created to provide a superior experience to all current alternatives for selling and buying used wheels.

We charge a far less percentage to sellers for a listing than eBay and our dynamic classifieds system is designed to prevent sniping and other notorious, unwanted auction issues that we found very frustrating.

Additionally, unlike Facebook Marketplace and similar classifieds services, we verify every listing beforehand to ensure it has all of the necessary and pertinent information that a wheel buyer would need to know. We make sure that a buyer is not having to ask a seller about very important details that are commonly left out of other basic classifieds listings.

Meanwhile, forum listings are often extremely out of date, leaving potential buyers disappointed that a post should have been updated or deleted when the wheels listed for sale have actually sold a long time ago. Also, forum posts are simple free text which means important details about the wheel specifications are often omitted by sellers. On Wheel Wall, we require all of the wheel information, and if included, tire specifications be provided to approve a listing and we ensure that all of the listings are up-to-date, since sellers are required to verify them every 30 days. Buyers are no longer left in the dark

Interested buyers have two options:

  1. Make a Deal, in which a buyer agrees to purchase a wheel set at the current listed asking price and terms at any time. If a listed set of wheels is at a price and terms you agree with, click the Make a Deal button and they’re yours. Make a Deal is a binding purchase agreement and the total purchase price will be due directly to the seller based on their acceptable payment term(s). We will connect you and the seller by providing your names, email addresses and phone numbers to each other.
  2. Make an Offer is an option for a buyer to attempt to purchase a wheel set for a lesser amount. When an offer is made by a potential buyer via Make an Offer, all other members with the same wheel set on their “wall” will be notified via “An offer has been made” update which will also appear in the listings Comments section. Those prospective buyers are therefore encouraged to make their highest and best offer as well or risk losing the wheels to another buyer. Sellers will be notified of the offer amounts as well as the offering member’s zip code to allow them to calculate shipping costs. This enables the seller to weigh all offers and to consider other factors, such as a lower offer from a local pickup buyer. before deciding to either Accept the Offer, Counter the Offer, or Decline the Offer. Such is the case with each offer presented to the seller who has 24 hours to respond before they expire.

We charge sellers 2.5% of the original listing price for the first listing, 2.0% after 5 listings, and 1.5% after 10 listings.

For commercial outlets looking to sell higher volume, superior rates are available. Please contact us for more information. (—> info@wheelwall.com)

No! The price you see is the price you pay. There is no additional fee for buyers or sellers on top of the displayed price like other sites.

No, Wheel Wall does not sell brand new wheels

Listings will indicate whether tires are included in addition to the rims. If tires are included in the listing, detailed photos, tire specifications, tread depths, and wear or repair disclosures are required to be provided by the seller.

We have several safeguards in place to help ensure a trustworthy community.

  1. All Wheel Wall members must have a validated payment method on file to join the platform.
  2. All communications are public until personal details are shared once a deal has been made.
  3. After a deal, sellers and buyers each report “Fulfilled” or “Not Fulfilled”. The number of fulfilled deals appears next to each member’s username.
  4. Sellers are not refunded when reported listings are flagged and removed. Since fees are required to be paid prior to posting each listing, broad attempts at fraudulent activity would be costly and therefore deterred on the wheelwall platform.

Congratulations! Upon a successful deal, the buyer and seller will receive each other’s name, email and phone number. They will then coordinate outside the Wheel Wall domain to complete the transaction. Both buyers and sellers will also receive post-sale “best practices” information in order to complete a safe, secure, and easy transaction.

Suggested shipping instructions will be provided to you once a deal has been reached. We have also partnered with ShipNerd to negotiate for Wheel Wall members to receive significant discounts on shipping with UPS. Shipnerd makes is easy for sellers as they also offer UPS pickup service from your home or shop location. No need to deal with taking heavy and large packages to the UPS store.
